REQUEST- IDEAS

XD I knew someone would be eager for that. One issue I have is that I unfortunately don't have access to anything other than the mobile Skullgirls game and it's easy to tell it's pretty barebones compared to an actual Skullgirls game.

Ah, well, I'm sure you could look up a movelist, find the story on Youtube, etc...and I'm always here to provide assistance, if necessary!

Oh cool! Thanks a lot, Pixy! I'll go ahead and do that. I'll look up Peacock's story modes while I'm at it, get a better look into how she acts and behaves.

..I've ended up coming up with more character ideas to throw here.

Possibly things like a Samurai OC, someone akin to the Dragoons of Final Fantasy..Or Vyse from Skies of Arcadia.

...I'd make a Midara but the only idea I had was something akin to the Ring and I'm not touching anything horror related. Nope. Nu uh.

If you wanna go more in-depth, I'd recommend looking through Big Band's story mode too, 'cause Peacock plays a big part in that one.

Feh...talkin' about Skullgirls makes me wish I wasn't so garbage at it.

You've piqued my interest, and I don't know why.

I'm gonna assume it has something to do with the concept of being dragged into a TV world to become some midara's plaything.

Reminds me of that one painting monster from MGQ that dragged poor Luka back with her into her painting, where she could play with him to her heart's desire.

Not sure how that'd really work mechanically as a midara, though. I had a similar idea with a set of living armor possessed by a ghost girl, which slowly pulled her opponent into the armor with her, but I wasn't sure how it would actually work. The idea I had was the ghost girl gaining access to more powerful attacks the more armor pieces she had on the opponent, which I later turned into Naedra's Enthrallment level.

..No joke, I'd fight a Midara like that.

Perhaps with every piece of armor slapped on, the target feels continuous pleasure until they force the armor off.

So has anyone thought of using yuri from DDLC?

There has been talk about DDLC but Monika keeps getting the attention.

Yuri would be midara. Her attacks would be both sensual and physical. The physical would be her knife, but it deals willpower damage and her sensual would be kissing and licking. Her 2nd phase would be her act 2 self which she starts acting more like a yandere.

Kinda. Maybe the armor acts as a spiritual bond, what the ghost is stuck to. It can move out of it, but it has to keep generally close to it, so she could perform other moves aside from ones involving the armor.

So to get a unique midara, we may need to go outside the box...probably literally. What about one that ensnares the player through the 4th wall?

As much as I want to see that happen, it'd have to be done right, and doing it right would need one hell of an execution to pull it off. I can't even imagine where you'd begin with that, especially in a forum setting. That sort of thing's really more suited for a game, or a VN.

Err...not that I want to discourage anyone from trying, of course!

I have a bit of knowledge from La Pucelle, but I recall that the concept was "Hey, go purify enemies and the like, get them to join and fight for you." But Marjoly...I know little about her other than her techniques in Disgaea. I have no interest in playing Rhapsody a Musical Adventure.
