The party continues down the mountain making it past from where they battled the two Fallen from earlier, but the ash is still falling around them. The path going down has changed much and various debris is in the way where it wasn't earlier. Grek has to stop Arenn from tripping off the mountainside more than once. Will they make camp here for the night or continue going down there mountain in the dark? Both Arenn and Grek have developed headaches and their bodies are sore.

"We need some rest, if we continue in these conditions we are going to colapse" he said as he stop from walking and wait his answer his arm in one of his knee .

"you aren't wrong, we should make camp here for a bit, that explosion really took it out of me" Arenn agreed

As Grek kneels down Arenn can notice a piece of his clothing is torn off his back. The skin showing appears to have sunburn.

"Damn..." Arenn curses, feeling his back for anything unnatural

he start to make his tent for rest while keeping his guard up for any surprise attack "really, i need a rest after that explosion"

When Arenn touches his back, a burning pain causes him to immediately recoil. With the tents set up, the two decide to eat, as they haven't ate for several hours. Even with the meat roasted to perfection over the fire, the food does not seem appetizing. Nonetheless, the pair down and attempt to rest.

Soon after, each of them take turns retching outside their camp. They examine the food, but it appears not be spoiled. They again lay down for the night but are interrupted by frequent bouts of nausea and retching. They drink nothing but water afterwards but the feeling persists even as they wake up in the morning.

"looks like whatever that blast was really did a number on us... We should get to safety as soon as possible" Arenn says, pained

"Sound Really good to me,lets move after something bad happen again" he follow Arenn's while continue keeping his bow in hand with the same firm grip even with the pain

The two continue down the mountain at their best pace. Various boulders are found all across their path and some landslides have made the way down more challenging than it need be. When Grek goes to sit down and take a drink of water, he wipes some sweat off his brow. He then pours some water over his head to cool off from the pace of the march. As the water pours off his forehead, he notices something very strange; bits of his hair are coming off along with the water!

Naturally, Grek panics and gets Arenn's attention. Arenn can't believe what he sees; a man younger than himself looking pale as a ghost, losing his hair. Grek then freaks out again when he sees blood coming out Arenn's nose!

Arenn was worried now, "This is bad... What'd you think we should do?" He asked Grek

"i think we should search for help " he say worried while trying to keep his calm

"you're probably right" Arenn replied, trying to keep the panic out of his voice

"lets move before this weirds feeling continue to worsen " he said trying to walk and looking around for any ramdom house in the area

Since both Arenn and Grek are still on the mountain, there is no sign of human life. Perhaps they could try to find the Yuki Onna they encountered earlier (DC8/10) or they could continue going down (DC6/10)? Either way things are not looking good. In addition to the strange symptoms they are feeling now, fatigue is becoming an issue. Simply put, they feel much more exhausted now than when they did coming UP the mountain. Very odd. They could simply set up camp again and rest. The ash is no longer falling on them like it was higher up the mountain. In any case, the sun is starting it's track down the horizon again....

(Don't worry guys, I'm not dragging this out for no reason.)

"we have to find Tsubasa, maybe she can help us" he said thinking where is she while looking around

"if you're sure..." Arenn says cautiously "I'm not sure whether she'll be friendly if Raijin isn't with us... But we don't have many other options"

In spite of the calmer weather than last time, the party is unable to find Tsubasa. The snow looks freshly fallen from the last time you were here and there are no tracks. In addition, now both party members are too ill to travel and the fatigue is overwhelming. The party rests as they must, but their stamina does not recover. The situation is looking bleak and the food the party has is all but useless; they can't keep it down without throwing it back up. Perhaps they can appeal for divine intervention because nothing else is working? Perhaps the party will accept their fate and die on the mountain with their former comrade? Perhaps they will soon recover after the sickness works it way through their bodies?

"Dammit!" Arenn cursed before dropping to his knees, after a brief pause, he brings his hands together

"Seraph Gabriella... You watched over us once before on this accursed mountain, I know I probably don't deserve it after nearly falling to the temptations of the fallen, but please, if you do hear me, I beg of you, please aid us here. If nothing else, just until I can return the soul of my beloved to her..."

Grek sit on his knee and start to pray to seraph gabriella hopping she will help us ,unlike his friend,he pray in silence just closing his eyes and talk in his mind..

When Grek and Arenn had prayed it had been midday and now as the sun is setting, along with their hopes, the pair are unable to make camp and simply resort to covering themselves with blankets on the ground. Was this their reward for going on their journey? Instead of finding riches or glory they find a lonely death on a deserted mountain? Sunset turns into darkness and the pair nod off into a restless slumber wondering if they'll wake up again.
