Salos back in Yona Tower

“Yes, but that doesn’t mean I can’t learn some more things from you.” He said as he started to get dressed.

Mari looks away as he changes.

Salos neatens out the outfit, even fixing his hair into a nicer style. “How do I look?” He asks shyly.

"You look great." Mari says.

“It is bigger is some places, but I like how it looks. It makes me feel a little more mature.” He says a little confident.

"Just be careful how you move, you know just because the lack of underwear." Mari says, motioning towards his groin, as she blushes.

“I don’t suppose you have any?” He asks.

"Miss Yona kinda took all mine away, saying it would be easier for me to fight against males if I didn't have any on." Mari tells him.

“I understand. May I be honest?” He says looking at her.

"Sure, what do you want to say?" Mari asks.

“I did come back for the lessons, but there was a bigger reason I wanted to return. I wanted to be with you.” He admits

"B-Be with me? Li-Like marriage?" Mari stammers out, blushing the whole time.

“Whatever you want. I don’t want to leave your side. Even if it means staying here.” He admits.

"Bu-b-b-b-b..." Mari stands there stammering, her mind seeming to have stopped working for the moment.

“I’m sorry.” He says a little disheartened.

Mari runs over to him and pulls him into a hug, "Don't be sorry, if circumstances were different, I would accept, but I feel like it isn't safe for you to stay here."

“I don’t want to lose you.” He says sad.

"I'm sure there is a way we could stay connected, maybe Mimi knows some magic for that." Mari says, wanting to cheer him up.

“Sure. Let’s go talk to her.” He says following her.

They go to Mimi's floor and Mari calls out to her, getting no response. "She must be sleeping. Do you mind lighting this place up?" Mari says.

Salos creates a warming ball of light.

And that's when they saw it, a ball of fur with ears sticking out the top, stained red, laying in a small pool of blood.

Salos runs over, checking her and hoping she is alive.

As he checks her, Mimi wakes up, standing up, the whole front of her body tinted red in blood.

“What happened?” He asks as he focuses all of himself into healing her.
