Salos back in Yona Tower

"What do you mean? Is something wrong?" Mimi asks, unaware of the situation. As she spoke, Salos saw her teeth were also covered by blood and a little bit of fur in her mouth.

“Your covered in blood and were not moving.” He said solemnly.

"I was sleeping and must of bit my tail." Mimi says like it was a usual thing.

“How often do you wake up, covered in blood?” Salos asks concerned.

"Don't know, can't tell unless someone tells me I'm covered in blood." Mimi says as Mari, who Salos didn't notice leave, came back with a bucket of water and a towel. "Okay Mimi, you know what time it is. Salos, do you mind giving us some privacy for a while." Mari says.

“Should I leave the room or go into a corner?” He asked.

"Could you leave the room? We might be here for a while, so I'm sure someone would be happy to entertain you." Mari says.

Unsure where to go, Salos heads up to Kaori’s floor.

Salos spots Kaori resting in a tree as he gets back on her floor. "So let me guess..." She says before perfectly guessing everything that happened.

“Yeah. What happened?” He asked as he took a seat under a tree, making sure to sit properly.

"Are you asking what happened to Mimi?" Kaori asks him to clarify.

“Yeah.” He said softly.

"She probably either went to sleep hungry or had a dream of eating something, and then bite her tail." Kaori guesses.

“She said the same, but I want sure.” He said as he shrugged.

"If you were worried that someone did that to her, don't be. Akuma has told us to never use our full strength, unless our lives were in danger or the person we are fighting had already beat her, so if someone did that to her, I would be more worried for that person, since besides Akuma herself, Mimi's full power is probably the strongest here." Kaori says.

“I see. That’s why Mari wanted to talk to her.” He said softly.

"Nope, I'm pretty sure Mari wanted to clean Mimi up, which would involve taking Mimi's clothes off, so she sent you away." Kaori says.

“No, we went there first to talk to her and we found here like that.” He explained.

"I thought you and Mari went there to talk to her to find a way to keep you two connected." Kaori countered.

“Sorry that is what I meant.” He said feeling a bit confused. It was harder to keep his thoughts on track while he was dressed up and smelling her sweet scent.

"So you do realize if you and Mari get connected by magic, if Akuma and or Oki figure that out, they would have an easy way of tracking you." Kaori says.

“Yeah. That thought did occurs to me, but I don’t want to lose her.” He admits.

"If you don't want to lose her, you need to become skilled enough at battle to be able to beat both of them at the same time." Kaori says.

“I failed so bad against Akuma before, and that other girl knows my weaknesses.” He said feeling completely disheartened.

"You know your past attempts, so go in with a plan next time." Kaori says, giving him advice.
