“Ok,” Lily said, wanting to rest off the apparent head injury she had been inflicted with from falling from a tree.

The two midara lead her inside. The main room of the cottage contained a small kitchen, a dining table with four chairs and a soft couch that looked perfect for comfortably seating three people. "Is there anything I can get you?" Marianna asked a bit anxiously.

“Something cool, to put on my forehead,” Lily mumbled as she made her way to the couch.

Marianna stepped into the kitchen before quickly returning with a wet towel. Offering it to Lily. She and Lia visibly relieved that Lily didn't seem hurt, just out of it.

Lily laid the towel on her forehead as she thought, trying to remember why she was in a tree to begin with, but she couldn’t remember any details from the time she got the bounty until she apparently fell from the tree. A pained expression was across her face as she tried to remember.

As Lily focused the two sisters whispered to each other, trying to figure out what to do. Till now every human who had entered their home either was, or was soon to be, a lust driven empty-headed milk addict. It was how they kept their locations and identities a secret and prevented an army of adventurers from descending upon their cottage. But Lily had thrown them for a loop.

“Was I doing anything before, or after I fell?” Lily asked, trying to get something that could jog her memory.

"Don't know. When we first saw you you were already up in the tree sweetie. And then you feel almost immediately afterwards." Marianna said carefully. The two moved to sit on either side of her on the couch, their curvy bodies pressing against her ever so slightly. "We can try something that might help you remember if you like?" Lia offered. The sisters had decided how they were going to deal with this. They were going to insure that Lily wasn't hurt, insure that their location didn't get leaked, and then send her on her way as soon as reasonably possible.

"Well it's been hanging around her neck this whole time. You must have seen it already." Marianna quickly said. "Just keep your eye on it and relax and soon it will all come back to you."

Lily bought the line Marianna told her as she keep her eyes on the necklace, watching it go back and forth.

Once Lily was nice and receptive Marianna began to whisper in her ear. "You stumbled upon our cottage while traveling on unrelated business. We invited you inside and you decided to stay the night and enjoy our hospitality. When you leave you won't remember anything about any bounties on our heads and you won't feel a need to mention us to anyone else. We were just another unremarkable on the road. Isn't that right sweetie?" She hoped Lily would accept this rather stretched truth and that they'd be able to put this whole unusual business behind them.

“Yes...” Lily says absent minded as she watches the necklace swing back and forth like a pendulum.

Marianna let out a sight of relief as the holstaur sisters visibly relaxed. Now they wouldn't have to worry about being driven out at least. Still swinging the hypnotic necklace before Lily's eyes Lia adopted a sly grin. "Tell me dear. Are you thirsty?" She asked. Perhaps there would still be some time for fun after all.

Lily nodded the best she could with her head rested between Marianna’s breasts.

As Lily left she still didn't know why she had been in the woods in the first place, but for whatever reason that didn't seem to matter. It was time to go find her next job.
