Ferro vs the Tower of the Corrupted Elementals

Ferro was sent to explore a certain forest. There had been a large steady build up of magic that suddenly fizzled out unexpectedly. Furthermore, a wizard who aided several surrounding towns on various issues was supposed to live near the disturbance, but no one has seen in months.

It was very concerning that such consistent peace had suddenly just vanished, almost like it faded out into thin air. "Let's see, I think the locals said the place was... This way?"

Ferro soon found himself in front of a tower that, despite it's well... towering size, he certainly didn't see before he entered the forest.

"Ah... Is... What on earth?" He approached this strange tower, pondering how he failed to notice it before. Did he just have his head too far into the matter or did he not fail to see it... He was familiar with places not everyone would see, after all...

Upon entering the tower, Ferro found himself in a large room. On the opposite door was a giant door with several symbols carved into it: A howling wolf, a snowflake, a lightning bolt, a mountain, a flame, a drop of water, a metal ingot, and the dark half of a ying-yang symbol.

Scattered around where eight doors, each having one of the symbols that were on the giant door.

Ferro: 30 Willpower

"What is with this place, I've never seen anything like this..." He looked around at the various doors and examined them, nothing seeming too telling aside from the symbols. After a moment's thought and steeling himself, he decided to open one of the doors, stepping through that of the metal ingot.

Ferro opened the door to find a room full of mirrors; all angled so that no matter where he looked, he got an eyeful of the naked metal woman who was striking poses in the middle of the room.

The woman seemed to be too busy admiring her own reflections to notice Ferro enter.

He blushed a bit at the sight, but he became a bit distracted by what she was exactly. A woman made of metal, that wasn't something he saw every day. He found himself lost in thought over the idea as well as what this tower was that it houses such an individual.

"Oh?" the woman said as she spotted the man out of the corner of her eye. "Has someone come to admire my beauty?"

Her voice snapped him out of jus thoughts and he stammered. "Ah, s-sorry, I didn't mean to intrude. I saw the tower and came to investigate."

"I can never be mad at a man who appreciates beauty when he sees it." the metallic woman said as she strolled over to Ferro and pulled him into a kiss. Her metal lips felt surprisingly nice as they rubbed against his own.

He shouldn't even be surprised, but regardless he pulled away as red as ever. "Wait, hold on. I-I was hoping to get some answers!"

The man's attempt to get away was thwarted by the woman's hand turning into manacles and locking around his wrists.


Ferro: 28 Willpower + Lock Up
Mythra: 30 Stamina

That was all he needed to understand this place wasn't on the up and up. At the very least, this woman wasn't... He attempted to break free from the manacles, trying to use his magic and talent for metal magic in hopes of aiding the effort.

The woman let out a startled squawk as her transformed hands let Ferro go, seemingly of their own accord. "I- what just happened?" she asked as she stared at her hands while they turned back to normal

Mythra: 30 Stamina + Stunned

"Magic," he answered shortly. "I've always been a bit of natural when it comes to metal. I'm just glad it came in handy." He readied himself to fend Mythra off, taking his staff and attempting to trip her up.

The metal woman stepped back and avoided his swing as she recovered from her shock.

"Lost a bit of confidence there," he pointed out, moving to swing his staff a bit higher overhead, aiming to stun her another way.

"O-Of course not!" the woman lied as she dodged his strike.

"Really? I would be if I were in your position," he added, forgoing his staff this time to thrust an open palm at her. He was certain she'd be kind of spooked.

"Wh-What are you going to make me do?" the metal woman asked, before slammed his hand into her. The man's attack didn't seem to hurt her, but it still knocked her on her ass.

No damage? That was a problem, to be certain. Maybe he should try more magical means, though most of them were fairly blunt-force in nature. "Hmm, what, you ask? What to do, what to do..." He was going to take her fear and try to get the ball rolling in a way he preferred. He didn't intend anything awful, of course, but that didn't mean she had to know... "What do you think I'll do?" He threw another strike her way, this time attempting to empower his attack with magic power, testing the waters of what works and what doesn't.

The magic enhances strike got a wince of pain out of his opponent, but she grabbed a pulled him down onto the floor with her. "I don't know. Whatever you're into, you naughty boy." she suggested before she pulled him into a kiss.


Ferro: 26 Willpower
Mythra: 29 Stamina + Dazed(2)

She caught him off guard, and after he just proved the validity of his idea as well. Not only did she seem less afraid, she almost encouraged it from the way she said that. He pushed off of her and readied his staff again, pouring magic through it before his strike, aiming to take full advantage of his idea.

(Imbuing raw magic into his physical attacks have no drawbacks on the physical attacks themselves, however, it does exhaust his energy and leads to his real spells becoming less reliable. Every time he uses a spell 3 turns or less after a magic-enhanced physical attack, it's rolled with Disadvantage.)
