Motherly Mermaid
Description: Motherly Mermaid’s are mermaids who’s children recently grew up and left her home. They quickly develop “empty nest syndrome” and are overwhelmed by a sense of loneliness. They attack humans in a somewhat desperate attempt to turn them into a new child for her to raise.
Passive: Mother’s Oblivious Love: Motherly Mermaids pretend to be ignorant of her opponents embarrassment, when really, it just makes her want to tease them even more. Has Advantage against Humiliated opponents.
Active:
Mother’s Pearl: The Motherly Mermaid opens the clam on her necklace and pulls out a pearl. She offers it to her opponent and they become completely captivated by the shining jewel. Inflicts Fascination.
Motherly Swim: The Motherly Mermaid captures her opponent in a great big hug and pulls them into the water with her. Deals 1 Damage. Drags the opponent into the water, causing them to have Disadvantage until they can make it back to shore.
Motherly Lesson: The Motherly Mermaid giggles softly at the sight of her opponent floundering in the water. Taking pity on them, she gives them an impromptu swimming lesson and drags them back to shore. Deals 1 Damage. Removes the Disadvantage caused by Motherly Swim and replaces it with Humiliation, raising the crit fail range by 10, for however many turns they had the Disadvantage.
The Fish and the Oysters: the Motherly Mermaid decides to give her opponent “The Talk” the various ways one can have sex with a mermaid. She’ll pay particular attention to their reactions to find out what they’re interested in. Reveals a Weakness. If the target is suffering from Humiliation, They take 2 Damage from sheer embarrassment.
Mommy Says No!: The Motherly Mermaid slaps the target with her tail and scolds them for trying to hurt her. Her stern talking to shames the opponent into not doing it again. Deals 1 Damage. Seals the last successful move the target used. Auto used as a Free Action in response to being hit with a Critical Hit, even if she’s supposed to be Stunned.
Mother’s Kiss: The Motherly Mermaid plants a great big kiss on her opponent’s cheek. Her lips leave behind a stamp of her lipstick that doesn’t seem to come off no matter how much her opponent wipes at it.
Mother’s Lullaby: The Motherly Mermaid pulls her opponent into a hug. Resting their head against her chest she lulls them to sleep with a sweet lullaby. She continues to hold them and gently rocks her opponent as they slumber in her arms. Deals 1 Damage. Inflicts Sleep. Inflict Bind.
Mermaid’s Motherly Devotion (Finisher): The Motherly Mermaid starts to sing to her defeated opponent as she starts applying makeup to their face. Their features grow more feminine the more she puts on, and her song causes scales to grow on their legs and fuse them together. By the time the Motherly Mermaid finishes prettying them up, her opponent is turned into a cute mermaid daughter of hers.
