Annie in the Mirage Castle

Following the tip from Blake and Yang, the mute treasure hunter ventured west into the forest outside of Rollatia. It took a few days of uneventful trekking, but the lush woodland was more than able to provide her with anything she might need to sustain herself. Then, she found an immense lake in a clearing. Before Annie could consider doing anything, the light shining off of the water's surface caught her in the eye and blinded her for a brief moment. And then, she looked again to see a large castle in the middle of the lake, using the surrounding water as a moat with an open drawbridge going right into the front door.

This was probably the castle that Yang mentioned.... but it definitely didn't have the air of a plain castle. Wouldn't some place this huge be on a map or something?

Annie gulped as she looked to the castle that seemed to appear out of nowhere. This had all the markings of a magical castle either a wizard or witch, and the high chance of midara. She sighed before she moved forward to the bridge as she carefully walked across worried it might break. She had a feeling she would be using her light a lot in here and did her best to charge up some on the way in.

The bridge was solid and firm, and it didn't so much as creak a single time as Annie crossed it. There was an immense and ornate pair of doors barring the entrance, but they didn't appear to be locked at all. It wasn't easy to make any guesses about the inside of the castle based on the exterior. In fact, how did Yang even pick up a rumor about this? Could there really be treasure in here?

The questions flowed into Annie's mind as she looked to the doors, she felt confident to say this had to be a midara. The place was too well kept and the magic flowing wasn't strong enough to feel when walking up. She carefully opened the door as she looked inside using her umbrella to keep the sun from shining into the room with her

Looking inside, the place seemed to look like a mostly ordinary castle. There wasn't anyone that Annie could see from here, and the only thing that could have stood out were the portraits of attractive women ranging from regal queens to the cute princesses. Heck, some of them seemed to be ordinary residents or servants. Annie had infiltrated soundly... although the door was left open for her as if the person in charge wanted visitors.

Annie looked around the open room, the paintings causing her cheeks to turn red seeing the different attractive women staring back. This place seemed so odd! she thought as she moved in deeper and let the door shut quietly. It was time for her to do what she does best as she began to look aroudn for clues of treasure

The foyer had no particular hints or clues besides the portraits. The shapely, pretty woman smiling back at Annie. Sporting plump lips, bountiful busts, charming smiles, glistening eyes. Long, luscious hair, cute dresses. More reason to believe there were Midara living here. Maybe something even more tempting than Midara.

Annie sighed as she found nothing, her blush never leaving from being so close to the beautiful paintings. Something was off but she couldn't put her finger on it...where they high class midara? She thought as she looked around before moving to a new room to continue her search.

There were a series of doors off to the sides, and each one had a portrait dangling above it. One depicted a maid, one showed a dancer, the third showed a mermaid, and the fourth depicted a songstress. A rather interesting array of ladies here.

Annie looked to the doors with a hum, it would most likely not be hidden with a dancer or songstress and the mermaid would be a last chance of having any clues to treasure. With that in mind she carefully opened the door with hte maid portrait hoping to find clues with the maids within

As Annie opened the door, she could've sworn that she saw the maid portrait wink at her. Inside the door was a hallway, and this area looked to be a place where a lot of chores happened. Especially cooking and laundry. There weren't any Midara in sight yet, though.

Annie continued down the path, worried as the why the portrait looked like it was moving. She was cautious as she moved trying her best not to have a yang encounter and run straight into someone's breasts again

Annie found that this was a pretty ordinary hallway. There was a kitchen, a dining room, a laundry room, a wardrobe with maid outfits, a changing room, but no sign of any treasure around here.

Annie saw the maid outfits and had a great idea as she ran into the room and grabbed a outfit before going to the changing room, it would be easy to blend in as long as she wasn't too obvious with her searching. She thought as she undressed herself and hid her clothes

Annie went into the changing room... which was made up of smaller stalls for the maids to get changed. The infiltrator picked one at random, and was greeted by the sight of a gorgeous, green-haired maid with blue eyes, an adorable and silken uniform, and an impressive pair of breasts with cleavage that was exposed proudly by her top. She looked like she had just finished dressing herself, and she was even cuter than the portrait. Also... she had a pair of wings and a spaded tail...

Annie gulped and turned crimson as she looked at the cute maid as she tried to apologize with a small bow and moved to close the door. This was not part of the plan but if she acted like she was a new maid it would be easy for her to let out mistakes.

"Wait a second, dear, are you a new maid?" The Succubus Maid opened the door and got a good look at Annie. "Oh, you don't appear to be a Succubus, but then why are you putting on a maid uniform? Oh, did you think it looks extra cute, or super soft?" She asked her, smiling tenderly as her instincts brought her to attend to the castle's guest.

Annie squeaked and nodded shyly, she had to play the part of a new girl. It would mean having someone befriend her to sell her story better and if she had to show her body to a succubus she would.
