Ferro landed one more jab on the Slime's nose, but that one hit wasn't enough to finish her off as her gelatinous body took most of the impact. While the intruder judged what to do next, she quickly dropped her 'hat' into his pants. Which included recalling the 'hat' she used to give Ferro a very impromptu assjob. "Okay... you win... you can go through and see the queen. Or you can... do whatever you like with my Slime?" She said, trying to nervously pose her assets for the intruder.

Ferro sighed with relief, approaching the slime girl, only to simply pat her on the head. "I'm fine, thanks. But hey, you oughta chin up a little. You did really well during that fight, you know."

The Slime looked up at Ferro with a shy smile. "Th-thank you... I just wanted to do my best for Alice..." She replied as she attempted to stand up straight with posture befitting a soldier. She was still wobbly, which made her curves put on a downright distracting show, but she was able to stand at attention.

Ferro was able to ignore her curves in no small part thanks to Luminara, as well as feeling a general sense of pride in how well the slimes have improved. "I think she'd be very happy with your work."

"Y-you think so? That's nice.... I'll try to do even more next time..." The Slime said before she started slowly deforming into a puddle. Ferro might have thought she was hurt, but he could still make out her face. Her eyes were closed and she seemed to be slowly breathing in and out. She was just asleep.

"That's the spirit. Good night, lil jellybean," he answered quietly as he pressed on with his run of the castle. He was very close to reaching Alice, so all that was left was to reach the resting room beforehand.
