Ms. Miranda's Marvelous Midara Inn

Appearance: A curvy woman with orange hair in pigtails wearing a shoulderless low cut blouse, a yellow corset, and a long maroon skirt with a white frill trimming.

"Hello! I'm Ms. Miranda and I'm here to tell you all about my marvelous midara inn. Although, I had to leave the word Midara off the actual sign. You humans just get so skittish when you know there are pretty ladies wanting to seduce you.

But I digress. The main purpose of my inn is to give wandering midara a safe place to unwind. Adventurers can be so mean; all we want to do is show them a good time, but instead of returning our affection, they attack us! That's why I personally make sure each bed in my inn as a human in it, that my midara guests can enjoy to their hearts content!

Of course, those mean ol' Adventurers just won't leave us alone! Every now and then, a few show up to disturb my guests. Despite my delicate looks, I'm more than capable of defending my inn and showing those meanies the errors of their ways!"

Moves:

Padding(Passive): "These big beauties aren't just for show!" Ms. Miranda rubs her breasts for emphasis "They also help protect me from adventurers' attacks. They're just such big targets that my opponents just can't help but aim for them!" (If enemy Aim roll is 4 or lower, Ms. Miranda's gets a +2 bonus to Toughness)

Hot Spot(Passive): "I'm not normally one to brag, but I can proudly say that my inn is one of the biggest Midara gathering spots in the land! New faces are always showing up, but they can be so impatient sometimes. Every now and then a guest that sees me with some adventurers can't keep themselves from join in on the fun!" (On a roll of 4 or higher, a random Midara is summoned with half her normal Stamina and Willpower. The number of Midara summoned this way can not exceed the number of Adventurer's in the party.)

Fortifying Brew: "In this move, I pour myself a pint of beer and chug it down. The beverage lights a fire in my belly that makes me feel invincible! Unfortunately, I'm not so good at holding my liquor, teehee." (Restores 1/6 of Ms. Miranda's Stamina and gives her +2 Toughness and -2 Aim for three rounds)

Glimpse of the Valley: "I lean towards the lucky guy. I then trail a finger down my chest and tug on my blouse, giving the them a great view of my cleavage. You humans are so easy to excite that I've even had a few guys try to dive right in!" (Sensuality Attack. If aim roll is 5 or higher, enemy is Enticed(10). Enticed Characters bury their heads in Ms. Miranda's breasts and nuzzle them, receiving 2 Willpower Damage per round. Effect lasts for three rounds or until Ms. Miranda does something other than defend or use Breast Impact. )

Damsel in Distress: "I can also play the victim, too. If any adventurer decides to get to rough with me, I can just use a bit of my feminine wiles and make them regret ever hurting me." (Sensuality Attack. Inflicts Guilt( 8 ). Guilted characters take a penalty of 1/2 their total Power score when attacking the inflicter. Can only be used on a character that dealt Stamina Damage to Ms. Miranda in the same round.)

Breast Impact: "This is actually one I learned from a friend of mine. It involves me throwing my weight around." Ms. Miranda bounces her breasts for emphasis. "I lunge at my target, slamming my breasts into the target's head with enough force to bang it against the wall behind them. And then while they're dazed, I go to town on them; rubbing my breasts all over their face and completely smothering them." (Power Attack. Has 1.5 bonus to the users Power Score. Always hits if target is Enticed. Inflicts Breast Smothered(12). Not only do Breast Smothered characters take 2 Willpower Damage per turn from the pleasure of the midara's mounds on their face, but they also take 2 Stamina damage per turn as well, due to the lack of air. Will a target is being Breast Smothered, the effect of Padding is negated.)

Irresistible Assault: "I've had to seduce plenty of you humans over the years to keep my inn stocked up, so I know just how to make you guys go wild. First, I pull you into a tight embrace and rub my breasts against you. Next, I place one hand behind your head and push your mouth against mine. Finally, I a slip a leg between yours, and rub my thigh against your groin. And just like that, you become putty in my hands. Works like a charm, every time." (Sensuality Attack. Has a 1.5 bonus to the attackers base sensuality . Target is Charmed( 8 ).)

*Finisher* Mistress of The Night: "Now that my opponent has been... hardened up, *giggle* it's time to put them to rest. I simply escort them into an empty room and tuck them in. I then call in the next Midara on the waiting list, and they get to have fun with their complementary love slave." (Conditions: Target must be suffering from at least 1 Status Ailment and have less than 1/4 of their Willpower Remaining. They are then hit with the Finisher of a random Midara.)

"So now that you know what's in store, why don't you stop by Ms. Miranda's Marvelous Midara Inn? I promise that you'll have a wonderful time~!" Ms. Miranda winks at you before leaning forward and blowing a kiss.

The last thing you see before you pass out is a giant pair of lips heading right for your face.

So, yeah. Thought I'd try something different this time. Both in the presentation but also switching from Anon64's mechanics to C_C's mechanics.

I wanted to put in a passive where a random midara would join the fight, since MMMMI is supposed to be a midara hot spot, but I'm not sure how to balance it.

What do you guy's think?

pulling out the old japanese english dictionary 淫ら(Midara) - lewd, dirty, indecent, obscene.

Good stuff, some of the multipliers such as those on Irresistable Assault(1.5xSensuality while ignoring Focus will mean a single hit kill on most characters) seem a tiny bit overpowered, but that can always be adjusted by adding extra conditions or a large Willpower/Stamina cost.

Having a random midara join the battle is perfectly okay as long as her stats are balanced(f. ex., you could make her have lower Stamina than usual because she just came from her travels or something).

Yeah, I was bit worried about that. I guess I could tone down the multiplier to 1.2 for Irresistible Assault. Or do you think I should get rid of it all together?

Fun Fact: I'm not sure if you've noticed this but Breast Impact is the move Marisa used to K.O. Erik's father in Erik's backstory. Hence the "I learned this from a friend of mine" bit. So that one being a bit overpowered was kind of intentional. Although, I had thought I made it so Breast Smothering negated Padding, but apparently I didn't.


As for Midara joining the fight, there is also the matter of determining which Midara show up and when. I imagine it would be a passive, since they're just showing up at the inn. But how often should they be showing up? And would they just give up if Ms. Miranda went down?

Getting rid of the Focus negation would probably be a more effective nerf than lowering the multiplier, I'd say. I think I spotted the reference, it's always fun to see the building of an interlocking world.

As for which midara show up, you can use any of the profiles you look or make one yourself: a good motivation for that particular midara showing up can always be written in the situation.

When the midara show up could be when she finishes an opponent off, or on a dice roll on each turn(with the number showing up not exceeding the number of party members on the quest), and whether they give up if Miranda went down depends on the quest goals(there's always the option that they quit combat to get her medical attention). Of course, it's your character, and these are merely suggestions.

This is a great presentatioin style, and an enemy that I'd love to encounter in the RP!

I especially love the Glimpse of the Valley move.
