Castle of The Vampiress (Roguelike-ish RP)

"Damn! I was hoping that would of knocked you out cold!" He said to her as he dodged out of the way. Quickly looking around though, he spotted an aisle of books that he could duck into to try and escape away from her!

Karbon ducks away from his opponent and tries to run down one of the labyrinthine libraries aisles to escape. However to his surprise as he ran through the corridor of bookshelves he came to a dead end, worse than that when he turned to run back his opponent was only a few feet behind him!

Once again the tendrils of light rose up around Karbon, but luckily for him he was able to dodge them a second time. A noticeable look of frustration flickered across the Vampiress' face

"You're just too slow for me!" He boasts, but it kind of seems like he is trapped now... Knowing that the only way to escape it to go through her. With that, Karbon bum rushes her, hoping to get passed.

Karbon taunts his opponent and goes to shove past her. As he runs however his foot connects with a heavy book on the floor, causing him to stumble and fall into a bookcase behind his opponent. Lucile turns and laughs at her floored prey "Oh yes, you are just too agile, but enough talk, let's get to the pleasurable part". She dashes towards Karbon, covering the distance unnaturally quickly, and kneels down to face him. Her eyes glow with unnatural glamour and Karbon feels complacent as she takes his head in her hands and slowly pulls him in for a kiss.

Knowing full well that this is going to be bad in some way, Karbon tries to resist her advancens!

Karbon, sensing the immediate danger, pulls himself together, forces himself to look away from her eyes hypnotic influence and pushes her hard. She stumbles back a few feet giving him time to recover

Making use of this kind of opportunity, he gets up and tries to push his way past her back to the center of the library.

Karbon scrambles to his feet and manages to push past his still dazed opponent, he doesn't stop running until he's back in the library's centre. Looking around he sees 3 paths through the bookshelf's, although he can't seem to make out where they lead

"Well if all else fails, go left." He says to himself before making a run for the left most path.

Taking the leftmost path, Karbon moves quickly. Not eager to let his opponent catch up. Luckily for him he winds up facing a door that is seemingly unlocked. As he goes to open it the Vampiress calls out "Oh darling I wouldn't go in there if I were you, youd have much more fun if you stayed here and played with me...". Turning around Karbon sees that she has almost caught up to him, if he's to flee itd have to be fast

"Anything is better than being some girl's play thing!" He cries back at her before going through the door.

Karbon dashes through the door and slams it shut behind him. A cool rush of air hits him as he realises he's outside, had he escaped? No, looking around he sees that he's in a lush walled garden. Exotic looking plants and grasses paint the area with bright hues of green, pink, red and blue. Knowing what midaran corrupted plants could be like, Karbon knew to be on his guard if he is to explore this place

(Every turn exploring the garden, until stated otherwise, please state if Karbon is preparing to dodge left or right, this will come into play if he comes across any traps or other obstacles)

Taking a couple cautious steps forward, Karbon has no choice but to start walking through the maze of plants. He wants to get a better view at what choices he could take so he heads for the highest point he could find.

Karbon is prepared to dodge right.

Karbon makes his way tentatively through the garden, suddenly a vine rears up in front of him, he instinctively dodges right, straight into another plant !
The plant quickly coils a tendril around him and it's large flower opens to blast him with sweet smelling pheromones. To his surprise the plant them released the slightly dizzy feeling Karbon, from somewhere in the garden the sound of melodious laughter could be briefly heard. (Choose another dodge direction)

"What the hell was that all about..." Karbon places a hand on his head to try and steady himself out and to continue down the path he was going. If he needs to dodge again, this time it will be to the right.

As Karbon clears his head and continues down the path, he hears a rustling in the bush in front of him. Out of nowhere a small pixie like midara rushes him. Dodging to the right, Karbon manages to sidestep his assailant who quickly hides in another bush

"That was close, I need to get out of here as fast as possible!" Now sprinting down the path, he knows the little trick to getting out of mazes by keeping your left hand on a wall and follow it. "I hope this works." He says to himself.

If he needs to dodge, he will dodge to the right.

Eventually Karbon manages to make it to what seems to be the centre of the maze. He stands in a clearing encircled by flowerbeds holding the most beautiful of plants. In the centre there grows a huge flower, not yet bloomed,as Karbon approaches, it's leaves begin to unfurl outwards. Inside the plant stands an absolutely gorgeous woman, probably some sort of dryad. She's naked apart from a few vines that wrap around her to cover her most private parts. Karbon stands momentarily frozen in admiration before snapping out of it. She approaches him, and slowly reaches out one arm, beckoning him to come to her...

"It's never easy is it..." Even though her offer was quite tempting, he knows nothing good would come from it. He places his right foot back and raises his fists in front of him. "If it's a fight you want, it's a fight you are going to get!" He lunges at her with a dashing elbow strike, "No more running for me!!!"

Karbon moves with surprising speed, his opponent as no time to react as he dashes in and brings his elbow crashing into her. She's momentarily sent sprawling to the ground by the sheer force of the impact. Karbon notices a vine begin to coil along the floor towards him

Knowing that that can't be any good, Karbon tries to step on it to stop it from getting any closer towards him.

Karbon sees the tendril creeping up on him and decides it's probably best to do something about it. He turns to face it and attempts to stamp at it. The sentient vine seems to see this as an adequate threat and quickly recoils into the bushes. As Karbon begins to turn back to his opponent, he feels her embrace him from behind, the warmth from her body shockingly pleasant as she breathes down his neck.
It seems he's going to have to fight his way out of this

Karbon is now bound!

"Gah! Get off of me!" Karbon says as he tries to shake his way off of her. He then tries to elbow her in the side!

Karbon manages to pull his elbow wide enough to bring it back in for a strike. His strength doesn't fail him as he sends his aggressor staggering back and frees himself from her hold.

She doesn't actively retaliate but she raises one arm calling forth from the bushes several long stalks with large flowers on the end to litter the arena walls. As of yet they seem dormant

Taking note of the situation, Karbon decides that it's best to stay away from the walls and tries to lead her back to the center of the field. With that, he slides his right foot out and jumps out with his left, sending a crescent kick right at her!
