River Rescue (Freya)

Freya took a moment to hold the sleeping girl, caressing her hair and lowering her gently to the floor before conjuring another health potion and continuing towards the mouth of the river

As Freya continued on, the forest grew denser. After awhile she began to feel like she was being watched, as the foliage rustled around her.


Freya: 27 Willpower

What could it be now, Freya slowed down and went to look for whatever could be watching her

Freya suddenly felt someone lunging at her from behind. In and instant, Freya whirled around and slashed the unknown person with her sword.

As her opponent backed away, Freya got a good look at her. She was a slender woman, with long dirty blonde hair and deep green eyes. Her legs were covered in light fur that match her hair in color, but marred by a large amount of what looked like black lip prints. A thin tail lazily waved behind her.

"Not bad." the Leopard Nekomata said as she ran a finger over her new cut.

Freya: 27 Willpower
Leopard Nekomata: 14 Stamina

"Take it you don't wanna settle whatever issue you have with me peacefully" Freya asked while circling her opponent, blade still drawn. Suddenly she darted forward, launching a succession of quick strikes

At the same time, the nekomata lunged at Freya. Too close hit the beast woman with her blade, Freya instead used her fist and knocked her opponent back.

Leopard Nekomata: 13 Stamina

"last chance" Freya warned before launching another stab at her opponent, aiming to pin her to a nearby tree!

Freya's blade sunk into her opponent and pinned her back to a tree. The nekomata let out a snarl of rage and pain as she shoved her opponent away and ripped herself from the sword.

Leopard Nekomata: 11 Stamina

Wordless this time, Freya darted back and swipes at the Midara once more with her blade

Freya's blade cut deeply into the nekomata, earning a howl of pain from the wild one.

Leopard Nekomata: 10 Stamina

"You sure you still want to fight?" Freya asks, remembering cupidity and giving the Midara a chance

The cat woman answered by lunging at Freya, but the warrior was easily able to counter the attack.

Leopard Nekomata: 9 Stamina

"let me at least settle this without killing you" Freya said, exasperation notable in her voice, "come here kitty" her tone suddenly seductively. Moving to pull the neko into a deep kiss

Freya tried to grab her opponent, but the Nekomata managed to evade he grasp. Luckily for the warrior, the cat woman was too busy dodging to attack her.

"Come on, I really don't wanna have to hurt you" Freya continued to reason with the Neko, preparing to counter any attack she threw with a kiss

Freya tried to counter, but her opponent moved faster than she expected. The nekomata bodily slammed into the warrior and knocked her off her feet.

"Now who's hurting who?" the midara taunted as she smirked down at Freya.

Leopard Nekomata: 9 Stamina

"Oh, so you can speak" Freya retorted, shakily trying to get back up

Freya tried to get up, but had to quickly roll away from a foot trying to step on her face.

Not wanting to be left at the leopards mercy, Freya urgently tried to throw herself to her feet

Once more the cat woman woman tried to step on her, but Freya managed to block the foot with her arm. She let out a pained grunt as the nekomata pressed down on her. Desperately, she used her free hand to swing her sword at the cat woman, nicking her leg and forcing her to back off.

Leopard Nekomata: 8 Stamina

"Let...me...up!" Freya growled through gritted teeth, trying to dodge her opponents foot and get to her feet

"Make me." The nekomata retorted as she finally succeeded in planting her bare foot on her opponent's face.

Wordless and fuming, anger surging through her, Freya once again tried to stand up to fight

Angrily, Freya forced the bare sole off of her face. Before she could get stepped on again, she rolled away and got to her feet. She turned to face her opponent.

...Only the nekomata somehow disappeared in the time it took her to get up.

Drawing her sword once more, Freya took a moment to focus, getting ready to strike at any hint of the nekos presence
