Striggabold vs Clarise

Striggabold heard rumors from a local business that a midara has been causing people shopping at the mall to disappear. She was rumored to dress in a very eye catching outfit. Striggabold was unsure what to make of this information, but the gold made the job hard to pass up. He entered the food court portion of the mall first. He could see many women sitting at the tables, enjoying some food with their friends. He could investigate the area or head deeper into the mall.

Looking around the food court he couldn't see anything really amiss. Just women enjoying their food. Not wanting to disturb them he decides to head deeper into the mall, checking every now and then to see if he was being followed.

Striggabold couldn’t see anyone following him, but the mall was crowded so was hard to see. He could see that there was a large clothing store ahead of him. He could feel like there was something off about it.

Striggabold decides to enter the store. He made sure his sword was easily to grab.

The knight enters the store to find it a girl’s shopping paradise. Trendy outfits, cute bags, makeup, and shoes lines the isles and displays. As he walks deeper in, he has can see a very trendy dressed woman with pink hair. She has many other women around her, hanging off her every word.

Striggabold was secretly quite impressed with the hoard and the variety of things on the shelves. He sees a woman with pink hair talking to a group of women. He decides to hang back and watch what happens.

“Now girls, you must always be flashy. Really captivate people. We want to make our style more popular and we need to find more models to wear our brands.” the pink haired girl said. Looking at the crowd, Striggabold noticed that many of them had makeup like the trendy girl with some wearing outfits that denoted them as employees at the store.

Seeing their outfits Striggabold assumed that they were just employees of the store receiving training. He starts to turn to exit the room.

“Hi. May I help you sir?” one the the girls said, grabbing his arm softly.

'Hello, I'm ok, just here on patrol' he said looking at her hand on his arm. 'No need to worry just passing through on a search to find a midara'

“Oh my. Your searching for a midara. They come here all the time. We are so happy you are here.” the one says, hugging him. The other girls seem to circle him as to also praise his arrival. The one who was talking to them before looks at him with a small smile on her lips.

'Have you girls seen any recently?' He asked eyeing up the pink haired girl. She seemed suspicious. 'How long has this shop been here?'

“Oh this store is a few years old, but we recently had it renovated. It brought a lot of life back to this old mall. This place used to be deserted, but now it’s slowly making a comeback. Midara come in all the time. They usually like to shop for some new threads to sweep some handsome eye candy off their feet. They occasionally bring a guy or two in to flirt with us.” one of the girls said.

"Wait you're working with the midara?" He said taken aback "can you tell me anything about them? What they look like? What they did to the guys?" He was starting to get suspicious of this whole place.

“Some work here to pay for stuff. They need jobs like regular people. What is wrong with a girl making a livable wage?” the woman who was talking to them before said, shaking her head. “It’s people like you that end up making some midara go to extremes. There are some who just want to make a simple living.”

"Nothing wrong with making honest money. Sorry for being prejudice." He said relaxing a little. "Just have had some bad experiences. What do you girls do here anyway?" He notices the girls circling him.

“We make our own line of fashions here. We have the store here and and studio where we design our outfits. We want to make everyone trendy.” the senior employee said with a smile.

"Everyone trendy?" He said "what do you think of my armour?" He laughed at his own joke. " your store is really nice but I should probably go soon" he started to tread backwards.

She put a hand on her chin as she started to walk around the knight. “I’m sorry hun, but that armor is so drab. You need something more colorful and cute. You will never find a girlfriend in that.” she said, pretending to cover her eyes as the girls around the knight giggled. Some of the female customers were now joining the circle of women around him.

"I'll bear that in mind" he said starting to turn " i really should be off now" as he turned he saw 2 women behind him.

“Why so soon? You asked about your outfit, so I think you are interested in a new style. I’d be more then happy to help.” the pink haired woman said.

"What sort of thing would you have in mind?" He asked "could always use with something lighter with a good defence" he glances at the girls.

“I think we can make something for you. Would you be interested in joining me in the studio in the back?” she said, some of the girls watching groaned. “It’s all right. I promise to bring him back for the big reveal.”

Striggabold decides to follow, hoping this will give him a chance to finally work out what is happening. He keeps his sword at the ready.

He follows the pink haired woman to a studio where there are many dresses on maniquens. There are two girls that seem to be working in scetches. One of them catches Striggabold’s eye. She has blue hair and also seems to be very stylish and pretty. “Welcome. This is where we make our magic happen. Ready to try a new style?” she asked with a smile.
