Thomas as a Midara Wrestling League Star!

"Normally, yes." Thomas said "But not when losing means becoming her pet." the man shrunk in on himself as he hugged his knees to his chest. "I'm not a horny pervert that wants to be enslaved. I'm not." he denied.

"I know you're not. But.... I can tell, your affection for Okina is real and strong. Something that goes beyond your natural, carnal desires, which you don't need to be ashamed or afraid of." Hùshì said, her tone becoming more sweet and gentle as she noticed her patient under a lot of pressure and anxiety. "You're lovesick. Your heart beats with longing that you can't satisfy. That is my diagnosis."

"I'm lovesick?" Thomas asked as he looked over to Hùshì and tilt his head curiously.

"Yes. Infatuated with a Midara, and unable to properly express it. No amount of medicine can fix that as long as she's in your thoughts. The combination of charm and emotional intensity leaves an impression on your thoughts that's not easy to get rid of." Hùshì explained.

"So what should I do then?" the man asked, but then a thought occurred to him. "Wait, are you saying I'm in love with Okina?"

"Not exactly love. But, it's a very strong attraction that very different from love. You need to try putting Okina entirely out of your mind. Or, go to the opposite extreme and spend time with her in a way that will settle your heart instead of intensify your feelings for her." Hùshì explained to him.

"Okay then. So how do I do either of those things?" Thomas asked with a sigh. "Especially since I'm at risk of her putting a collar around my neck?"

"Well, first, simply express that you don't want to go along with Vera's game. Surely, Okina will agree, won't she?" Hùshì proposed before continuing. "And, the two of you can share a meal, play some games, or just relax together. Perhaps even a spar, if you think you can properly express your emotions during it."

"I don't know." Thomas replied with a sigh as he laid back on the bed and just stared at the ceiling. "She's, uh, been practicing a more dominant persona to use on me. So, she might just do it anyway if I can't be firm with her. Which I can't, because of these feelings."

"Hmmm.... if you think she'd ignore your feelings on the matter so much, then there's not much I could say. There's still the option of distancing your thoughts from Okina until your heart calms down." Hùshì suggested, a bit dismayed at Thomas's pessimistic perspective.

"I could try." Thomas agreed with a sigh. "Maybe it'll be easier to try talking to her, though. Once I've recovered from this whole being drained thing, that is."

"Right. The state of your mind is often reflected from the state of your body. If you're not in top shape, I wouldn't strain yourself by interacting with Okina too much." Hùshì sagely agreed.

"So I'm just supposed to hide in here then?" Thomas asked as he sat up and looked at Hùshì curiously. "I mean, I'm grateful that you'd look over me. But I kind of just promised Joy I'd fight some of the diva's before I have to leave."

"Well.... I recommend fighting against a diva you don't have very many feelings for while you're still drained. The effects of Eva's powers wear off faster if you exert yourself." Hùshì explained. "Your body needs more energy so it makes more energy... that sort of thing."

"Who I don't have many feelings for, huh?" Thomas scratched his chin as he tried to look over his options. "Well, I guess we can rule out Okina. Bailey too, she already made me love drunk on her sweat once. That's probably just might make my condition even worse. I've gone on a date with Joy, so she's out. Clea Vage and Himiko have pushed my interests in boobs to a new level, so we can cross them off as well. Hanna's whole thing is making people fall in love with her, so fighting her is probably out. Trisha helped me out a lot when I first came here. And Jasmine is Jasmine... So I guess that leaves Vera, Princess, Yuna, Bella, Ms. Spencer, The Twins, you, Rose and Sophie. At least, I think that's everyone. Who would you recommend I fight, nurse?"

"You may try to fight me, and I promise I won't overstep my boundaries. You can also try Sophie as you've never faced her before. I believe there's another diva you didn't name, but her name escapes me as well at the moment." Hùshì advised him while Thomas had to somehow choose the sexy Midara wrestler that he was attracted to the least.

"Well, let's go with that one I didn't mention then?" Thomas suggested. "Since I don't even know her name, then that means I definitely shouldn't have any feelings for her, right?"

"Yes, it stands to reason." Hùshì went over some paperwork to uncover the name and.... "Her name is Alice. She's also relatively new and.... saying anything more won't do her justice. You'd best see her for yourself if you want to learn more."

"Well, if you think I'm good enough, I guess I'll go head to set up that match then?" Thomas said as he stood up. Hùshì's reluctance to say anything else about Alice had certainly made him curious.

"Here, take one of these before any strenuous activity until you're feeling at a hundred percent." Hùshì said, handing Thomas a small bottle of pills without any label. "They'll give you enough of a boost to sustain you for a bit."

"Alright, thank you." Thomas said as he pocketed the pills. "Later." he told the nurse before he headed off to set up his match.

Encounter (53) Fail

The reception area was becoming a very familiar sight by now, and all the staff here knew Thomas by his face and knew what he'd want every time. To set up a match. "Who's the lucky diva this time?" The clerk asked as she typed up a storm.

"Alice this time." Thomas told the receptionist.

"Alright, and when do you want it scheduled?" She asked, a routine they've both been through much, much more than once.

"I'd like it soon, if possible." Thomas replied.
