Pirate Battle! Azura vs. Captain Kiss!

(Stealth -roll 41- Fail!)

Unfortunately, the two pirates entered the room Azura was in. There was an awkward moment as the two stared at her in surprise.

With her plan already going out the window, Acura tried attacking them to silence them before they could call out that she wasn’t tied up anymore.

The pair stumbled out of the room as Azura rushed to attack them. Suddenly, the ship jerked as a wave struck it, and the two pirates were knocked off of their feet.

With them on the ground, Azura tried to knock them out with a swift blow to their heads, planning on hiding the bodies in the room so they wouldn’t be found immediately.

Both of the pirates were down for the count after a quick bonk to their heads. Azura then dragged them into room.

It didn't sound like any more pirates were coming at the moment.

With it sounding like the hall was empty, Azura rushed through it to try finding where the cannon and the crew manning them is.

Azura was quick to find the cannons. The crew were currently sitting on the floor playing a game of dice. They didn't seem to notice Azura yet.

Having not been spotted, Azura took some time to channel her magic to send a wave of water crashing down on the distracted crew.

(Magic -roll 8- Crit Success!)

Water surged forth, slamming into the pirates. The unlucky crew members were thrown into the cannons, knocking them out and even breaking a few of the weapons.

With that working out better than what she was planning, Azura rushed away to get to the deck of the ship so she could claim one of the dinghies and make her escape.

Azura made her way up topside. Poking her head out, she spotted a lone pirate swabbing the deck between her and the nearest dingy.

Unsure if the pirate knew she was there, Azura tried to sneak up and knock her out like she had done to the other pirates.

(Stealth -roll 85- Fail!)

Azura crept up behind the pirate, ready to quickly knock her out...

"Hiyah!"

... only to for the pirate to suddenly turn around and shove her wet mop in Azura's face.

Azura stumbled back in surprise, before she went on the attack, assuming a wooden mop would have nothing against her scimitar.

With one swing of her blade, Azura cut the mop in two. The pirate chuckled nervously as she looked at the broken halves of her improvised weapon.

With her opponent's 'weapon' destroyed, Azura moved in to knock her out.

(Attack -roll 25- Fail!)
(Counterattack -roll 39- Fail!)

Azura stepped in only to have to duck to avoid a panicked punch from the pirate,

Not wanting to waste any more time, Azura swapped from using her scimitar to using her gun seeing that her opponent didn't have one of their own.

(Attack -roll 73- Fail!)
(Call for Help -roll 8- Crit Success!)

Azura pulled out her gun and the pirate screamed in terror. Several pirates rushed on to the deck to see what the problem was, including the Captain.

"Well, Well, what do we have 'ere?" Captain Kiss said as she aimed her own gun at Azura.

As soon as she saw all the pirates show up, she began preparing her magic to cause a wave to knock them all over, ready to rush over to the dinghy and get off the ship.

Azura tried to gather up her magic, only to have to let it go as she desperately avoided the lips fired from the Captain's pistol.

Trying to buy herself some time to charge her magic, Azura returned fire at Captain Kiss.

(Attack -roll 52- Success!)

Captain Kiss cried out as Azura's shot managed to hit her shoulder and she stumbled back.

Hoping that will stop the pirate from aiming properly for long enough to gather up her magic, Azura began to do so.

(Magic -roll [60, 100]- Crit Success!)

Azura unleashed a tidal wave that scattered the pirates. Several of the crew screamed as they were knocked overboard by the magic water.
