Victus knew that he was still a little off balance, with his shoulder blade still not quite locked back into place, so he decided to fight through the pain, and focus carefully on hitting Yumi with his blade.

(Sword Slash - 58, 77)
Victus struck his sword out to Yumi, but saw she was about to dart to her left as he did. He corrected his strike mid swing, and managed to clip her in the side, before she had the chance to avoid it.

She yelps as the small part of the blade slices at her. Fortunately the injure was superficial and she can still fight through it. Changing method of attack a bit, she makes a motion of trying to get into his range as she usually does to get past the major damage of his sword but suddenly throws out a fan, faking her intentions of getting up close.

This left Victus no time to avoid a fan smacking his face. It doesn't seem like she was aiming for his wrist that time but more of surprising him and making him spread his guard throughout more of his body.

Victus had been so focused on following Yumi's movements that, when the fan hit him in the face, he let out a yelp of surprise and pain, swinging his sword out, in the hopes of hitting her, given how close she'd gotten. But, with his view blocked, he was unable to connect the blow to anything. Fortunately, however, the swing did pop his shoulder back into place.

"How many of those fans do you have?!" Victus asked, looking at the three fans that littered the ground around him. "You know what, don't answer that. I suspect I wouldn't like the method you'd use to answer."

Yumi just smiles in mirth of the quantity of fans that she possess and decided not to answer even if he decided to change his mind. It was then that she reaches to her obi and draws out her sword before making minor strike out towards him

That sword draw caught Victus's attention and he was prepared to avoid the quick attack, however that was what she intended before her next slash was aim taking account of his motion as he was avoiding the first one.

To her chagraine, he was quick to raise his sword to block the real attack, metal clashes as sparks fly with blade meeting blade.

"Nice try, but swords are my speciality." Victus grinned, holding Yumi's strike off. He pushed Yumi's blade away in an attempt to use the push to knock Yumi off balance, and capitalise with a huge strike. However, as he did, Yumi's shift in weight gave away her plan to avoid his follow-up. Victus corrected his arc by moving to mirror Yumi's direction, before knocking her down to the ground.

Yumi was knocked aside and wasn't able to recover on her feet as effectively, having to manually get up from the ground less she leave her defense open. Quickly she shifted back to her feet before he takes advantage before holding her blade forward diagonally.

Victus charged forward, knocking Yumi's blade aside with one swing, before plunging his sword forwards, cutting across her arm.

She almost lost her grip on her sword on that attack (though wouldn't matter as much). Taking a breath as she starts to concentrates to block out the pain before she focuses back onto Victus once more. Then she moves so suddenly it seems that she is gliding in the air. Her motion carries right past him before she pirouette by him again and again, delivering a quick slash at him each time she does so.

Butterfly dance- Attacks 3 times with 1 damage each. If any of these attack hits, then she may make additional attacks at disadvantage roll based on the number of times she struck.

Victus was not able to get a good bead on her position as she darted in fast enough that he was only able to block one of the slashes but two others catches him on the hip and shoulder. Two more follows but he quickly move away the dancer before he takes more damage.

Victus was staggered by the attacks Yumi dished out to him. He couldn't afford to be hit like that again. He changed up his stance once more to be more aggressive. He had lost a lot of momentum from that series of attacks, and needed to regain the advantage, and he wasn't going to do that with his current strategy. He did a heavy swing of his sword towards Yumi, but Yumi was easily able to avoid the attack, as it cut through the air she'd been standing in less than a second earlier.

Yumi's motion kept him out of range of the attack that he tried to aniticipate but was not quite there. Switching variation of strategy once more, another fan appears within her hand with the other hand holding her sword. Victus finally sees the origin of the fan is within her sleeves. However, instead of throwing at him, she elected to swing the blunt iron edge right at his wrist.

The impact of the fan had been harsh enough, combining with the abuse that wrist has taken that Victus's hand opens involuntarily. Not only that, the pain again causes him to falter in focus that he was not able to muster a reaction to act.

"Fuck!" Victus cursed, as he massive sword fell to the ground a good foot away from him. His vision went white with pain, and he started to take a few deep breaths to try and regain his composure.

While Victus is trying to recover from the accumulating pain as well as the loss of his sword. Yumi dashes straight at him before becoming a blur as she reappears behind him.

Single Stroke- Deal 5 damage. Can only be used against an enemy that is hit by a critical, or rolled a critical fail.

Victus, despite the agony, was able to jump out of the way of Yumi's path. Which is a good thing because a large slash occurs right as she passes by him which as fierce enough that it slightly distorted the air and makes a resounding sound. Who knows what would happen if that had landed.

Victus lets out a sigh of relief as the blade passes past him.
"That was pretty close! Looks like it would've hurt a lot too!" Victus commented. He made a dash for his weapon, reaching down, and grabbing it, as he moved into a more defensive position.

Yumi reverses her direction and was about to make another run but stops briefly as he changes his stances. She decided to carry on her next attack seemingly, lashing out at him with her sword.

Except the swing had almost no power to it and while Victus was able to parry the slash, her next attack come from a direction that is parallel to his sword's alignment, slipping past his guard, and delivering a nasty hit to his side.

Victus had lost the upper hand. He was not used to this unusual fighting technique employed by Yumi. It was, however, most impressive. But he needed to end this before it was too late. He charged forward, putting his weight behind he lunge, and plunched his blade towards Yumi once more.

The attack had struck Yumi hard. However unusually the lithe woman had barely budged as it is now noticed that she was in a form of stance that keeps her as grounded as she can though his form does make her rotating....in which she uses it to empower her next attack and the rotation comes back around and slash, followed by a powerful cutting gust of wind resulted in her motion that is fueled by Victus's own strike.

Resonating wind- Deals 2 damage + 50% damage of any attack directed to her in the previous turn (2).

The sheer speed of the attack and the resulting wind was too much for Victus as he was struck by her sword an the following razor gust that slams into him, rending him senseless.

Victus grunted in pain. He stood his ground, his body refusing to let himself fall, even with his knees close to buckling. Just a little bit longer. If he could just hold on a little longer, maybe he could still bring this back.

Yumi knew she had to capitalize his state before he get a chance to come back. She has no desire to give him that chance. Again she moves with great alacrity, reaching him but almost disappearing as she passes by

Victus: 0 + Advantage To Be Hit + (+1) Damage Dealt Defeated

Victus could only be able to raise his to try to fend off the furious barrage of sword swings but his currently condition renders him helpless as the the last hit causes him to topple towards the ground. She stppped her assault as soon as he starts to fall over and quickly tries to gently lower him down instead of letting him hit it unceremoniously.

Victus let out a final groan as he began to lose conciousness, but a smile hit his face, clearly satisfied by the fight.

Yumi moves Victus to the ground which the strength she can muster. The fight did take much out of her as well though she was still conscious but didn't had much energy to do much afterwards but to simply relax in the training room and recover.

A few minutes passed before Victus was able to regain conciousness. His head was pounding, and his ribs hurt like hell, but he felt an immense amount of satisfaction. He slowly turned his head, choosing not to move his body too much in his current condition, and looked around for Yumi.

Yumi is breathing evening to stabilizing her breath after having been a bit winded from the large amount of sudden motions she performed. The motion of him stirring catches her attention before her gaze moves to him. "Are you alright?"

"Oh, I'm just peachy." Victus responded, his tone genuine. "It's been a while since I had a fight that good. Your technique is really something to be proud of! Not many people can knock me to the ground!" He commented with a deep laugh, followed by a cough as he felt the pain in his ribs. "How about you?"

"I am trying to relax and recuperate. Moving at such speed starts to take a toll, even if I have been doing it for most of my life. And then the heavy sword swings makes me sore." She moves herself to sitting cross leg under her. "Speaking honestly, even with that advantage towards the end, I felt that no one had a clear path to victory."

"Ah, yeah. Sorry about that." Victus said. "I kind of went all out on you there. And yeah, at the end, I feel it could have gone either way. But this day, you were the better fighter. It just proves I need to train more." Victus nodded, slowly sitting up, and moving back a little, to place his back against the wall.
