The spider demon smiled. "Note the emphasis on intent. The contract is it void if you genuinely intend to kill or banish me. As long as you stop it won't be rendered null at all." She explained.

"Fine, but if I feel that the magic from the contract goes away, I will be stopping your enslavement of civilians through force," Harper says.

Elise nodded. She had him right where she wanted, with plans in place for both winning and losing. "By all means, go ahead."

Starting the fight, Harper sent a blast of golden flames at the spider demon.

The wave of holy water struck down the spider and stunned Elise.

Harper attempted to keep this momentum up, and with his opponent now wet, he sent a blast of electricity at her.

The spider managed to dodge the wave. Elise blew him a smokey heart shaped kiss that filled Harper with a powerful feeling of infatuation.

Harper tried to shake off this feeling inside him, planning on firing a beam at the spider and then three other beams at Elise if he can.
