Thats a pretty good idea, but how will they change it? Will it be a skill that he learns as he levels up? Or an item that does it?

it doesn't matter if it is a skill or a item we just need it to trigger a event when used

Well, I think it should be an item considering it would make the game VERY easy if they can just switch it at will. Maybe we can make it an "out of the way" item where if you do side quests instead of just the main quest, you will be able to find them.

Sounds like the weakpoint system in the Saitama BF games. In those games, you could switch your weaknesses at certain areas (e.g. a set of pornography that changes your preference depending on which picture you last look at, or a girl simply asking you what your preference was). Certain encounters would result in unwinnable battles if you had the appropriate weakpoint.

A skill was later added for convenience that allowed you to change your weakpoints outside of combat.

It feels like a staple of BF games now.

Yea and thats why I believe it makes the game too easy if you can switch it so willingly. I want the person to actually think before they use the item, like, "Should I use it on this boss or wait to see if there is a tougher boss along the way"

I enjoyed the auto-lose idea in those games, though I wish it would have applied to more than just the MILF preference. I think the loli preference resulted in some tougher but still winnable fights. For anything else, it simply served as a way to intentionally gimp yourself to make the game harder, as you could always set your weakness to nothing (normal girl preference, no specific body parts) instead.

Just bringing up how Saitama's worked. Of course, if you want to balance the game around having a mandatory, changeable weakpoint, that's up to you. Also, I think it would be cool if enemies could "train" your character into a weakpoint of their desire.

My mistake. I actually thought his handle was Saitama. Now that I think about it, I think it was actually Pikasan.

Whatever happened to the BF scene anyways? All I see are the occasional commercial games now.

I think the changable weakpoint would be easier for me to implement into the game than having the enemy train you into their weakpoint. I am in no way, shape, or form someone who is even experienced at RPGMaker VX Ace.

Hell, I'm learning from watching youtube vids, this is the first time ever that I played around with this and its actually quite easier than I thought.

Im making progress but its coming along slowly but surly. I have time today to work on it and I will tell you guys what I have done by tonight.

well we could always make it a like armor or something, or we could do a dragon quest/warrior type game over


yeah Ace is very user friendly It's my first RPGM too

Anything is possible! RMVXAce is a lot less restricting than previous versions. You can get by with a lot of things without even having to dig into scripts.

EDIT 2: Ok, got the cut scene done, got the world map finished (havent added in all the towns yet), and got the first cave done (havent added the enemies yet).

Basically I took the time to work with the graphics of the game. The next step for me is to add monster girls once I can find good resources for them and do their attacks.

Do you want to use sprite from other games? Like Succubus Quest, Midara Quest and etc??

Anything that is sexy I want to have so I have a wide variety to choose from when I make battles. Right now I'm working on the cave and want to put in three monsters: A slime girl, a goblin girl, and a fox girl.

I would refer you to mgbooru.com but it seems to be gone at the moment. (Dan/Gel)booru and http://lud.sakura.ne.jp/ are the next things I can give you.

Not much at the moment bc of college and such, but summer break is coming up and I should have some time then. I kinda forgot about it since no one else has been commenting here and I thought people lost interest in it. Yea, send me some of your writing and I will implement it into the game any way I can.

do you still need succubus quest cg?
