Flynn vs Sonya

“It’s just outside the main part of your kingdom, a simple house in the woods,” Flynn answered, “And while it isn’t required, another set of hands could be useful.”

"Then I'll send someone to escort you home and help you move." the queen said firmly with a nod.

“Should I just wait here for you to assign someone to that task?” Flynn asked.

"Would you prefer I send Mei-Mei or Sonya to assist you? Or would you like to met someone else?" The queen asked.

“I’ll take it there was a reason you kept Sonya here while Mei-Mei was sent out to search for the slime, so I’ll take Mei-Mei or the someone else you mentioned,” Flynn answered.

A women appeared in a puff of magic, as if weighting for Flynn to have given hi answer. She was slender and shapely; with long auburn hair that reached down her back. Her brown eyes glowed with magic and a hint of lust and she was clad in an purple cheongsam

"Valla, Royal Magician." she greeted as she held out a hand to Flynn.

“So you’re the one they brought the sample to,” He replied, shaking her hand, “I’m Flynn.”

"Pleasure to met you." She said honestly. "Always nice to met a mage with a different specialization."

“Likewise,” He says, “From that, I’ll take it that you have heard about my curses. I haven’t heard of your specialization, but if I had to guess, like many things in the kingdom, love magic?”

"Weather, actually, but I've been branching out." she told him as she created a cloud a sat on it.

“I see,” He replies, “But how far have you branched out? I doubt tracking that slime is a thing you can do with weather magic.”

"It's not that hard to enchant a cloud to stay above a specific person, if you know what your doing." Valla answered with a shrug.

“I guess you could do it that way,” Flynn says, “So are you the one who is going to help me move?”

"I suppose I am." Valla said as she leaned back on her cloud. "Shall we get going?"

“Yeah, just follow me,” He said, starting to leave the kingdom.

Valla waved goodbye to her queen and Sonya as she rode her cloud behind Flynn.

“So, what exact do you do as the royal magician?” Flynn asked as he lead her towards his old home.

"Currently, I'm looking in to how to feasibly reach the moon." Valla answered.

“Why do you need to find that out?” Flynn asked, “And could you just find one person that has spacial magic and find a way to give them enough magic to teleport or transport to the moon.”

"One of our knights is claims to originally be from the moon. Our Queen... wishes to get in contact with their homeland." Valla answered with a shrug. "You idea has merit, but that still means finding someone with a spatial specialization."

“If they originally were from the moon, shouldn’t they know how to get there?” Flynn said.

"The Queen as actually wanting it to be a surprise for her." Valla explained.

“And you did check they weren’t kidding about being from the moon?” Flynn said as they approached a wooden cabin.

"Yes." was all that Valla said.

“Have you examined them to see if there was any lingering magic on them from how they got here?” He asked as he opened the front door to show the dimly lit inside. “We are here. Could you collect any books or tomes you can find? I’ll gather up anything else I’ll be taking.”
