A Magic Chance (Ferro vs Iris)

Ferro found himself in the middle of a forest, he had been investigating several cases of a woman causing mayhem in the nearby cities. He didn't have much to go on except that it was a woman who controlled plants, probably a driad or an alraune maybe. He wandered around trying to find the woman's hideout until her stumbled into a ruined castle.

The place seemed abandoned but above the walls, the young man could see vivid plants, and they weren't the kind of plants that you would expect to see in an abandoned place such as this. This could only mean that there was someone here but who could live in an abandonde castle such as this? Either some bandits or, considering the reason Ferro was there in the first place, it was the hideout of the woman he was looking for.

"Well, it's worth looking into, and this is an emergency..." He made his way towards the castle, preparing for the worst, but hoping for the best. Reaching the front gates of the castle he took a deep breath before he moved to open them.

The interior of the castle was pretty much the opposite from abandoned, many types of plant life. One thing that was obvious was that the castle was inhabited, no sign of anything but plants yet though...

"Either the resident is very happy with plants or they're exactly who I'm looking for..." He still kept his staff out of his hands for now, wanting to give the person living here a chance, at least. "Pardon the intrusion," he said to... Well anyone or thing that could hear.

There was no answer in return of his question, complete silence until the man heard the rustle of some branches, a quick glance at the trees next to the entrance would reveal that it's branches were pointing towards a side path. Said side path was neatly taken care off, with many pretty flowers all around and healthy trees swaying their leaves at the mercy of the wind.

Ferro felt like that was probably as good a sign as any, walking down the side path and, along the way, admiring the flowers. "Troublemaker or not, whoever's doing this really loves gardening..."

Following the path, Ferro found himself at the inner gardens of the castle, this place was filled with exotic plant life from different regions, some of them shouldn't even be able to bloom in the current climate but they somehow were and they were blooming in an incredibly beautiful way. The tree branches in there kept guiding the man, this time pointing towards a gazebo, where a woman was peacefully sitting while drinking tea.

Ferro was pretty much in awe by the plant life blooming all around despite the natural conditions they were growing in. Spotting the woman, he waved to her and called out, "Excuse me?"

The woman looked up to meet the man's gaze. Her icy, blue eyes looked as piercing as they looked sharp. She did look as if Ferro had interrupted her relaxation time. "I hope you have a good reason to come into my home and interrupt my tea, human." The last part sounded completely condescending and she wasn't even trying to hide it, which meant that the woman didn't like humans that much.

A gesture from the woman's hand and a vine grew and took away the tea set from the table where the woman had place it. With an unwelcomed 'visitor' it wasn't the time to relax and have a tea. "Well? I'm waiting."

He was caught off guard by just how coldly hostile she was right off the bat. "W-Well, I was investigating trouble that was happening around the nearby area. Some Midara who can control plants, and as beautiful as your flowers and shrubbery are, they don't look like they should be able to flourish in these conditions."

The woman's gaze was still locked into his as Ferro he nervously explained his intentions. "And what if I were the one causing trouble? You humans cause trouble all the time. If anything it's deserved." She had no idea of what the man was talking about but he had interrupted her relaxing time and was also kinda accusing her, so she would toy with him a little.

"I'd ask that you cause no more trouble, and if you refuse, then I have no choice but to put a stop to it." He readied himself for a fight, sure that she would start one now.

Iris couldn't hold back a laugh at the man's answer, he really thought he could take her. "Ah, how amusing, you little insect think you can order me around? That you can 'stop' me?" Oh he would be so fun to break, Iris could notice he was trying to act brave but the braver they try to act, the more satisfying is when they lay broken and turned into putty in Iris' hands. "Let's see you try then, little insect. I shall have my fun with you."

A snap from the woman's fingers was enough to make four beautiful, blue roses to emerge and bloom right from the ground and around the clearing. As they bloom, they released a storm of petals, the sweet scent of the flowers was enough to dull Ferro's senses slightly while the woman remained in the eye of the storm as if nothing happened.

Ferro tried to keep his wits about him as the fight began and he hurried in to close the gap. To start, a series of blows would be a good way to start, and the way this storm was going, the roses she bloomed would the ones to go.

Ferro wasted no time in destroying three out of the four blue roses, he knew that this storm was not good for him and his intuition paid off. The moment he destroyed the second rose, the storm died down with it. Iris didn't like that too much, she looked annoyed as Ferro had reacted quickly enough to stop whatever she was planning to do with the storm.

"Sorry, ma'am, but you won't beat me that easily!" Moving in closer, Ferro attempted to bring in one more unarmed strike upon the target herself.

Ferro wasn't about to give the woman a break, if this woman was the responsible for the troubles caused in the area, he needed to stop her... Or so he wanted but the moment he got closed to strike at her, the woman's eyes started to glow, capturing his gaze and trapping the man into a hypnotic trance. "So I won't beat you so easily now? Amusing."

Ferro stopped dead in his tracks, staring into the beautiful woman's eyes, having forgotten his mission for a moment. Still, much as he'd love to stand there and gaze at her longer, there was a part of him that wasn't done yet, especially not so early on in the fight.

Ferro fought hard against Iris' hypnotic eyes and managed to look away but before he could do anything, Iris' masterful touches sent shivers down the man's spine, freezing him in place and eliciting a moan from his lips. "How cute. Moaning already by my touch. I'll have some fun with you, insect~"

So early into the bout and she was already wrapping him around her little finger. He felt admittedly embarrassed about this, but couldn't help enjoying the attention, sighing with satisfaction.

The woman let out a sultry chuckle. "Melting already, little insect? Don't worry. I have much more in store for you~" She didn't do much more except enjoy the sweet look of will withering away that was written all over Ferro's face.

Ferro didn't like the steadily mounting feelings he was starting to experience for this woman. Not wanting to allow whatever this was from coming to completion, he took a moment to calm his mind and try to lessen the intensity of this feeling.

Iris watched as the man tried to focus his mind into dispelling the magic effect that was starting to take over his mind. Iris was surprised that someone finally decided to resist her spell, all the other insects that came before this one had fallen easy prey under her spell.

While the man was busy clearing his mind, a vine started to wrap around Iris' arm before taking the form of a firm whip.

Taking initiative, Ferro burst forward with a pounce, ready to barrel through the lady's stance, to take her down to the floor. He needed to land at least one attack on her if he was going to have justice for the things she seemingly did

Ferro's attack is enough to catch Iris with her guard down, sending her back against the floor but this wasn't enough to stop Iris who, without much effort, got back on her feet with nimble agility. "Is that all?"
