Resident of Two Homes

It was done. Sierra looks over her two masterpiece: the wintery fur white jacket, mitts, and fur cap wasn't the most fanciest of designs but will definitely serve their purpose. The doll on the otherhand was aesthetically well made to where it was the same doll type as Spring Rose but with Pash's appearance, clothed in a small but lovely evening gown with flowing texture and slit along the legs. The rhinestone mimicry was more hell than it was worth but she manage to get the beads to take its appearance. Both of them took a bit longer than she wanted, more because she is also dealing with a few personal project of her own.

With that, she decide to take the com orb that resides on the top of the work desk a few feet from the display table where the two completed project were, tabbing over to Pash's signal before pressing the green tree to see if she is still within range of the orb. In the meanwhile she looks over past the door of her workshop and to the kitchen as she brings the chicken nuggets recipe to mind as she waits for the midara to answer.

Pash was enjoying the luxury of being able to sit in a, admittedly rather nice, bathtub filled with bubbles without having to worry about anything else in the world. Not a single care in the world, her mind at peace. All she had to do was enjoy the warmth of the water the the fragrance of the bubbles.

That is until she heard a buzzing noise coming from her teddy bear. Which was just as good, the prospect of being able to talk to a friend sounded quite nice right about now.

She leaned over the tub, awkwardly flailing her arm about until she finally got hold of the bear. She then pulled it over and reached in to pull out the buzzing orb. She wanted to say she was pleasantly surprised to see it was Sierra calling her, but let's be real, that is the only person who ever called her.

"Hiya Sierra," she said rather calmly, in direct contrast to the way she would usually yell into the orb when she got a call. "A pleasure to hear from you as always, and to what do I owe this pleasant surprise?"

Well a least her ear-drums isn't breaking apart like the last time which she is thankful for. She sets the orb on a stand so that she can pull out some paper bags, neatly folded up but able to hold a decent amount of stuff inside when unfolded.

"Hey Pash. Was wanting to say hi as well as tell you that I've manage to finish your winter outfit and finish the mini-Pash doll with that gown you love on her. Sorry it took longer than I said. Was suppose to be done in about a week but I got carried away with a few personal project. Sorry!"

"Anyways, can we meet up at my home this time? I still need to check over something every few hours so I am kind of pinned at my house."

While answering, she also listens to the background humming noise of some machine while glancing briefly over what appears to be a rectangular beam of light creating light based symbols in mid air.

So she actually want and made that outfit and doll that she said she was going to. Now Pash kind of felt bad. Here was the already super busy student, loaded down with her academics who somehow found the time to make nice clothes for her, and here she was, just stilling in a bubble filled bathtub. Not just that, but she had room service on the way with a plate of chicken nuggets. She had even asked them if it was possible if they could bring the plate to her in the bathtub, expected them to get a chuckle out of it, and was almost ashamed of her sloth when they told her that it would be no problem.

Well, she almost felt bad at least. Almost. She was enjoying her weekend of luxury way more than she expected to.

"Awwww, thank you so much for making them. I really hope you did to stress yourself too much over them. I greatly appreciate it. And goodness, please don't apologize for making me nice things."

"So sure, I'd be more than happy to meet you at your place. It will take me a few days to get there from where I am, is that alright."

Pash then thought about this for a second.

"Wait, *giggle* I don't actually know where your house is haha."

"No not really. I've finished my schoolwork for the month and am technically on break now so I got more time to do whatever I want. A big relief for me." Big sigh of aforementioned relief ensues, audibly through Pash's orb. So I had time to make the doll and your outfit plus doing some personal stuff as well."

It was then that she hears Pash may be a few days away. Hmm that would be a bit of a distant even at Pash's more leisure walking pace but fortunate not out of range that they could not talk. Unfortunate that also means she won't be able to find where she is yet.

"Yes, I never told you were I lived yet. It is actually near the Atelier Hall where we went to last night. Just ask someone nearby for direction for... 3312 Serenity Avenue. If you get lost, I can have Spring Rose find and guide you here, just call me if you get near.

Oh and also, did you want me to make chicken nuggets when you arrive?"

"Ah, well if you enjoyed doing it, I guess I don't have to feel guilty about you going out of your way for me then *giggle*

"Hmmm, 3321 Ser... Oh, yes, please just put them on this little table next to the tub. Thank you so much Mr. waiter man. Please add a 10 dollar tip for yourself on my tab please."

"Sorry about that, but yeah, 3321 Serenity Avenue. Near that big hall. I think I can remember that. Haha! Serenity! Remember the first day we met and I thought your name was Serenity! Oh geez I felt so dumb for that one. I was hoping the make a good first impression and then I go and get your name wrong even though you wrote it down on a piece of paper for me."

"And omigosh yes! Please make more nuggets!" she said excitedly as she took a bite out of a chicken nugget while sitting in a bathtub full of bubbles.

"Heh I remember that.  But then again Sierra isn't the most memorable name out there.  I think,  I didn't really hold it against you really since I was also trying to get you on your good side as well."  She will have to kind of mull over if her name and its meaning is part of why she is able to escape notice of so much.  

It was then that she did a double take; not that Pash was actually talking to someone else now, she was leaving a...how much tip?!

"Huh?  Push?  Where are you eating and how are you able to give a $10 tip away?"  Her voice was remarkably calm despite the mental suprise.  Although after that she was prepared for another Pash themed crazy story.  That girl's life is a freaking yo-yo.

"Where am I eating? Ohohohoho, would you believe me if I told you I'm sitting in a lovely bathtub filled with designer soap in the platinum suite of a casino called the Voyage?"

"As for what I'm eating, haha! Do you even have to ask? Why I'm eating chicken nuggets of course!"

"As for the tip, well, the staff here as been so nice to me, so I want to make sure they feel appreciated you know? That and it *giggle* is not my money."

"So the story this time is that I walked past a casino, and a nice lady who works here offered me a free weekend here in one of their rooms plus some food. Apparently girls like me are good for business in a casino. So I got to my room, got dressed, went down the the lounge, and not even an hour later some silly boy has challenged me to a fight."

She gave a sigh, but it really was more of a brag.

"*sigh* I guess these boys just can't help it. No matter where I go, some one will always want to be on the *giggle* receiving end of my techniques."

"He apparently is a regular here who is also a high roller. Said he won big recently and offered me a wager. If I could beat him in a sparing match, he would upgrade me to the best room they have here and pay all my expenses for my time here."

"Well, I guess you can guess the outcome of that sparing match."

Sierra gave a roll of her eyes. There goes the Pash-style absurd but believable story of her conquest. Fortunate this latest person sounds like he was less fighting her and more having a friendly sparring match...with stakes.

"Hmm the guy that you mentioned to me, winning big and using it to wager something big, sounds like the gambling archetype that hangs around the place alright. I hope he isn't too bitter about losing too mu- er nevermind" Considering whom she was talking to, that was a silly question.

"So I guess that you kind of struck big just from being at the right place at the right time and things just keep getting better and better from there. You know I would be tempted to ask you for the address to try my luck and get free service over there if it wasn't for the fact that I...am not a big fan of casino. It might be the one that I first visit was lousy but I never tried to go in another one ever since..." The crafter girl wrinkles her nose as she could vividly remember the cigarette scent in the hotel she stayed over near the first casino she went to.

"Oh I can assure you he is not too bitter about losing, seeing as how he just stopped fighting half way through and all but asked me to *giggle* have my way with him."

"*giggle* Well, you know me. Wander around, be nice to people, then every now and then something nice happens to me in return."

Pash was all ready to try and figure out an address for the Voyage, but then she heard Sierra's change in tone.

"Haha, I see. Yeah, casinos can be a little, oh, what's the word, sleazy. This is not the place to come and have *giggle* academic discussions or showcase talents. Well, depends on what those *giggle* talents are."

Huh, Pash is quite in a good mood today. Sierra counted at least 4 times that the midara giggled. Then again, consider that she gets to live a high life (at least temporary), Sierra think that is well justified.

"Well it is not because there isn't anything to be gained knowledge wise from casinos. A lot of it is using probabilities to make it so that the owner generally comes out on top. In fact I kind of already broken down the odds of the results of a traditional poker game in one of my presentation.

The other part is, believe it or not, psychology. Casinos are a fountain of research topics for psychology students. Sunk Cost Fallacy is just one of them and I don't even have the name for the bunch of others since that isn't my field." It was then that she just thought of something as she was talking. "And I think whoever the owner of that casino is had you inadvertently funnel that guy's winning back into their casino."

"Omigosh Sierra, *giggle* please don't go to a casino with a note book interviewing people about why they keep putting money into the slot machine. I can't imagine anything that could turn every patron and staff member against you as quickly as that."

"Haha, you figured it out already? Geez you are quick, but yes, that is exactly what is going on, and yet we all benefit. The gambler gets to have his sparing match with me and *giggle* learn about my techniques. That is what he kept insisting what the challenge was all about anyways. I get to have a weekend of luxury. The casino gets it's money back. The recruiter lady who pulled me off the street gets a percentage for keeping the flow of money going. The gambler gets a reason to come back to the casino and win big again. See? Everyone wins! Capitalism at its finest! It's funny because technically that money never left the casino at yet everyone involved somehow gets what they want.

"Hehe, don't worry, I am not planning to ruin how thing goes over there. Not really my place to interfere with things going on. It is a legitimate business after all." Business was a word she loosely describes casinos honestly but she didn't had any right to judge.

And right after that thought, Pash reaffirms how it is a business even in a sense that it is a business of games of a sort. "Well money does flow in and out with more going in but that is just technicality of net gain and the result is the same. Though if everyone is happy, then all is good.

My weeks isn't as exciting as yours but I am making somethings for myself that is actually pretty big. This is what actually what is keeping me at my home at the moment. I really want to see how they shapes out." Her voice was getting excited at the prospect.

Pash picked up on the excitement in her voice at the mention of her project and pieced together that Sierra really wanted to talk about it.

"Eh? So what is this big thing that is keeping you at home?"

"Well 3 things actually:

The first thing is a bit odd. Apparently I somehow know some shadow-based abilities that mostly lets me hide extremely well so I will be doing some field testing on their application. I'm still figuring the story on that one myself and figuring how far these abilities go.

The second is upgrading my equipment and tools so I can craft more advance things, not to mention give me a few sweet personal gadgets such as remotely controlling things within my house or somethings I am carrying.

The last thing is upgrading Spring Rose herself so that she is more independent from me as well as the ability to speak and learn, though the tasks is going to take a while to complete and even longer for her to start a basis of learning.

And before you mention something about exhausing myself while finishing your stuff, all of this is still in the planning phase."

After that she takes a big breath after talking out a storm. Crikes, she was more hyped up about this than she originally thought!

"Haha, I can help you with that. We go somewhere, you hide, and then I'll be like: 'oh no! I can't see you or no, you are not hidden at all.' Although, *giggle* for the life of me I can't figure out why a girl would want to hide. Being in the spot light is so much more fun."

"Oooo, and what are these more advanced things you want to craft? Actually, how are they more advanced than what you currently craft... I don't even know what you currently craft. What do you currently craft?"

"Oh my, you know that giving Spring Rose free will means that soon it will be possible to *giggle* steal her away from you with my charms right?"

"Wait a second, I don't see how any of those involve you being stuck at home."

"Planning phase or no, I'm still going to mention something about exhausting yourself finishing my stuff. I mean, even if I were not concerned about your sanity, there is the fact that you doing all these things is making me feel like a lazy bum. All I do is wander around and *giggle* ask people for food."

"Being in the spotlight can be fun but unfortunate I can't exactly have the luxury of being in the light all the time thanks to Nightshades. And it does help me fade away just in case I run into dangerous individuals like that Akasha person Professor Durkin mention. And in a philosophical sense, some darkness does make the light shine brighter.

The things I can make is limited to clothing, food, and minor potions. With my upgrade, I can make more advanced items. You remember my launcher? The weapon I had that looks like a crossbow? With it I can actually fire things that isn't a small projectile like a grappling hook.

Well, I am more concerned with Spring Rose charming you away. You are utterly defenseless against her hugs remember? " Sierra lets out a brief giggle. "Although I wish I could give her actual free will, I am not that far in my research yet and she will at most be autonomous sadly. It's a step forward but not quite there yet.

And I am stuck here because I am monitoring this power source I recently had delivered to me that will help me with 2 of the 3 projects and make sure it is stable. Even with a discount, this thing is pretty expensive and I want to make sure it isn't defective.

Hehe, don't envy me, Pash. I am one of those girls that always needs something to occupy my time with.

Ah yes the Nightshades. That group Sierra had mentioned a few times now. Pash knew they had some kind of conflict with her academy. Pash had no idea why the two had their disagreement, only that she had been indirectly attacked by them because of her associating with Sierra. And Akasha, some powerful midara that was determined to, well, make an impact on the world. Pash did her best to keep her head down, so she never really ran into issues like this, but it seems that Sierra has dealt with this for as long as she can remember.

Pash decided to focus on the positive.

"Ah, that's so cool. I look forward to seeing all the things you build. Haha, and I'm fine with that. Either way results in Spring Rose and me running off together *giggle*."

"Well, I can't wait to see it. Tomorrow is my last day at this hotel, so I'll start making my way over."

To be honest, she didn't mind that ending either with Spring Rose journeying off with Pash; at least the midara would no longer be alone! In fact, that might be a preferably end but that is getting ahead of herself.

"Sure, no rush since I am going to be off for a while. Remember, Atelier Hall and and ask direction for 3321 Serenity Avenue. Call me up if there is any problems. Hope to see you soon!"

(You could put Pash anywhere within Haven and I can play with it with or without Sierra)

After a long journey of an unspecified amount of time, Pash found herself right in front of Atelier hall, the very hall where she had gotten her Sailor Venus outfit from.

"Excuse me," she asked a passerby, "do you know where Serenity Avenue is? Oh, that way, Ah! I see the sign. Thank you so much."

Pash then proceeded to walk over in that directions and was on the lookout for numbers.

"Hmmm, so there is 3300... there is 3290, haha, I'm going the wrong way, alright, 3310...3320... Ah! 3321! I've found it."

Having found Sierra's house, she prompt walked a good 50 meters or so back towards the hall and pulled out her little orb thing that Sierra had given her, and she called Sierra. Then she waited for Sierra to respond.

The audio-clip of Sierra's orb started resonating on the table-sink before her hand moves out of the shower to pull the curtain out of the way before her head peers from the side to see who was calling her before blinking to see that it was Pash.

Hastily, she turned the water knob to turned off the shower before grabbing a nearby tower to cover her wet naked body to quick dry herself, and then another towel to placed around her hair before she turned on the orb to respond. She wasn't really afraid of being exposed seeing that she lives alone and the view feature is off but she also didn't want to drip water onto the com orb as water grain was annoying to wipe off.

"Hey Pash, how's it going?" She did sound a bit breathless after that rush to action and even then there was a noticeable delay of time before Sierra did answer.

"Hey Sierra! I'm lost. Can you please send Spring Rose to come get me like you said you could? I was at the hall, then I walked down Serenity avenue for a bit and now I'm just completely lost. Please send help."

(She pretends to be lost just to see Spring Rose again? )

"OK give me a moment."

Well completely drying her hair is going to hair to wait. She grabbed her com-orb and fast walked out of the bathroom and towards the her workshop. As if triggered by motion, the lights turned on and some of the devices in her room started to light up and come out of a hibernation state. A doll-sized Spring Rose was resting on her study desk. She moved towards the window, careful of not letting her toweled self be seen before opening the window. Her eyes closed for a moment before back up;

Spring Rose's body and clothes starts to expand rapidly, quickly growing to her human size before opening her eyes before climbing out the window and onto the street, walking towards the Hall while searching for Pash. Her motion is noticeably improved that she is moving more naturally as opposed to trying to imitate one.

(would you expect anything less from Pash )

Pash watched as Spring Rose just straight up climbed out of a window. Pash was watching the door, expecting the doll to show up from there, but nope.

Straight up climbed out of a window.

"I can't say I expected to ever see that happen," she said to herself.

But she was happy to see the doll nevertheless and started waving at the doll and jumping up and down on the sidewalk.

The waving and the the jumping caught the attention of the doll (and Sierra by extension whom is simply drying herself in her workshop while closing the window). Spring Rose broke in a seamless run, with better natural mtion than she did before and glomp hug on Pash so fast than she would stumble a bit from the force even if the doll was pretty light for her size.

After several seconds of attaching herself to Pash, she starts to let go but then starts holding Pash's hand and pointing towards Sierra's home.
