This accessory did nothing to alleviate her growing anger, rather it actually triggered her rage to become stronger. Anika jabbed a finger in Lucy's direction as flashing sparks of plasma collected around it, gathering into a flickering bright light, building on itself before Anika attempts to shoot it out as a lightning spell.

The spell exploded mid flight. Anika was slightly singed from the magical failure, but Lucy was blasted off of her feet.
